today i read a thread in the R and D section that was replied to by adam. you make a very valid point of people who post comments like those of "turbo" :
"can anyone tell me what it is like putting nitrous on a turbo".
hands up those out ther who have? or have done the setup themselves?
which the responce from adam was that of comming down upon those who post questions that are valid but not that tangible in real life. his responce of:
"Don't post asking questions about how to fix your car, this forum is for *research* and *development* not to ask about how to change your brake pads or similar."
this comment really dose say what we all are thinking. if you are as he says "technical newbies" this isnt the forum for you. general gemini chat possiably is . i myself fall into the catagory of someone who is slightly technicaly minded but dose look first of all in a manual or in that helpful section of WORKSHOP to the left of screen first.
but in the long run if you post a question that is rediculas as that be reminded that others do not reply |
