good on ya,doesnt fall out, either get a boot section from the likes of rare spares in brissy,or cut a good boot out of a coupe/sedan and weld it in,if the coppers pull u over and it rusty,u'll have heaps of fines as it NOT roadworthy.........ask r b/f,he should fix it for u,so ur not driving a death trap, cause if some one hits u from behind,it will crumple and ull be in deep deep dog poo.lol....as a panel beater,id say fix it dont just do the girl thing and put make up over it.........have some sence, |

Yeah i did mine with sheet metal no probs. Just cut it a bit bigger than the hole, place it on the inside and put a few spots on it then beat it till it takes on the shape of hte boot. Then finish welding. Bog if you want to any imperfections as its hard to sustain a steady weld for that ong(if your shit at weldinn like me) then buy a tin of sound deadener and paint it on thick as shit after you hit the welds with rust converter. Strong and wont rust in future. I didnt bother grinding it back to look pretty as im flooring hte whole lot anyway. |
