| i have just put a g180 and 5spd into my early model tx, as well as full te wiring, if anyone is thinking of doing this dont make the same mistake i did, the bracket behing the cluster is different an has to either be cut or hammered pretty well for the speedo cable to work and not kink in a te cluster. |

| oh yeah all gemini gearboxes are diffeerent the autoboxs are anyway. u have to get the shifter when getting another gearbox out of a another gemini just in case |

| yea i had to move the gearbox mounts on the tunnel back to suit the late model gearbox, and the shifters are different on the boxes,, |

| also the spline on output shaft of the gearbox is different between TE/TF |
