|
|
I did the mod in the workshop to attain greater negative camber, I turned the ball joints around so that the flat side is facing towards the centre of the car, just like it says, and now my car has less camber than it did before!
My car has been lowered no more than an inch, and rest of the suspension is stocko. My wheels had negative camber before I turned the joints around, and now they seem to be neutral.
Negative camber is so, if looking at the front of the car, the wheels look like this / \ (but not so extreme ofcourse) yes?
Yes, I have driven it to make sure the suspension is sitting right.
What the?
I have a TE btw |

Has someone possibly already done the camber mod already (before you) and you have now reversed it and reduced the negative camber ?
if you catch my drift. |

The ball joints are offset, ie. the shaft is off to one side of the bolt holes, so you put it in one way, and you will get more negative camber than the other. Maybe your ball joint is different. Tak it out and have a look at where the shaft is relative to the bolt holes.
