Approx. $3000 as is, or approx. $4800 if it came with a VL L.S.D instead of the locker, and had full engineers approval for registration in Q.L.D.

Its not just a gemini. To me a gemini has a 1600 carby fed engine with drum brakes, bad paint and a bit of rust hee and there.
You have to accept that the car has a bit of work done to it and therefore it should be priced a little higher.
Sure, you should never expect to get money back on a car like that or even break even. But there is no way you can compare that to the market value for a gem.
For example, mooch's car. He's hardly gonna be selling that for 2 grand in the trader is he ? |

I've seen a gem go for $10,000. What you have got to look at though is the guy had over $40,000 in reciepts. Completly legal 11 second car in adelaide and in adelaiide a completly legal car is very hard to come by as not many real fast cars are. |

yeah right. i know of 4 turbo gems around here, one guy got offered $10,000 without rego, another got offered $10,000 for a 1600, my brother was offered a swap for an ET turbo with 17's plus $5000 and as i said i was offered $10,000 as well. so go figure. |
