spacers r usually like $50 at JB, and supercheap has AERPRO 6x9 spacers for $20. i was going to make spacers for the parcel shelf out of layers of MDF, but seeing the 6x9 spacers, i thought i might giv them a try.
my question is, has any1 tried makin the hole in these spacers bigger to fit kenwood 7x10s?
link is :
javascript:PopIt('/cgi-bin/product.cgi?pcode=AP317&make=&model=','product','width=600,height=470,scrollbars=yes,resizable=yes')
and these are plastic 2.

USE SPLITS!! if your gonna spend any money on speakers, do it the right way and go for a set of split component speakers (6inch woofer & seperate tweeter) it is an unbelievable difference! theyre so much better.
PS speaker raisers are not hard to make; if your raising them out of a rear parcel shelf, invest your money into a piece of MDF and some interior carpet and make a whole new shelf, thats what i did, it looks heaps neater. |
