I am about to convert my dizzy to electronic but am not quite sure the best way to go. I have seen a couple of posts where they say that you can use a piazza/shuttle dizzy. I assume that it is possible just to use the magnetic pickup from these dizzys as the dizzy in my piazza turbo motor (my other car) is driven off the cam not the oil pump. Has anyone done this using camira bits either??? I would really like to try and do the conversion without having to buy a crane/msd kit.
thanks,

As far as camiras go they wont bolt in. The pick up section is too big. You can rip out their hall effect sensor and find a way to connect the vane to the rotorbutton. It is much easier to rip the innards out of one of the 4z#1 dizzys and chuck that in the gemi dizzy.
