if u want to stay on the torque curve rev it to 6000rpm
this will put you right on the flat torque curve just before max torque
but TX1975 is right power drops right off after 5500 |

I have no tacho in my automotive projectile, but when i chucked 20 litres of BP 100 in my tank i had my stock G200 up to 115kph in second. And i have an auto... It felt pretty damn nice too, the engine didn't seem to have a decible of pinging when i did it (i listened very carefully) and there seem to be no more power at this speed until i shifted into drive (3rd), the thing felt like it bloody 'power-shifted' into next gear. As soon as i selected drive, it felt like it surged in power. Twas a good feeling laddy - too be sure too be sure.

95 km/h in 2nd is only about 6200rpm. Any way the motor would hit coutout before it even got to 6500rpm. |
