can anyone help me out on giving me some info?.
ive got a VB commodore and its a 308 and want to do a conversion into a gemini..ive seen one done and registered before.a yellow one...im in n.s.w so the rules and regulations might be different up in queensland..want to know what i have to do to put it in and get it registered...i know i have to cut the tunnel out, cut the engine mounts out of the engine bay , also i think i might have to modify the steering (thats what the guy in the yellow one had to do.)
i dont think it will be too hard to convert over , just not sure of the rego,.
i asked the R.T.A probably about 2yrs ago if i could put a 302 V8 into a gemini wagon and they said " if the engineer will engineer it for you they will register it" i can get an engineers certificate real easy so i might have to stick to the 302 rather than the 308 as i know the actual V is more narrow on the 302. So its not as wide in the engine bay..if any one can help me out it would be heaps appreciated...
Steve...

just talk to an engineer about it and he might steer you in the right direction |
