Ive been thinking about putting a rodeo 2.6l motor in a gemini but iver herd that they are very tauquie (cant spell it) and breathless at high revs and will only rev to about 6000. if you port the head and put bigger valves in will this make it a lot better at high revs? all help is apreciated.

it wont rev as hard as say a 1600. it will produce more power. it will still rev off its tits. and u wont need it to rev high any way cause it will have more power therefore it wont need to rev as much to get u going faster.

youll probably have to get a custom cam ground, thatl change the rev/power range to what ever you want it to be, (within reason) With a lumpy cam and a nice port n polish itll probably still rev to about 7500rpm..

ive seen them rev past 7000 with stock interns (sacrificial engine) with a turbo bolted on the side
