i done a search and read you have gti seats in you gem. ive got a set and im wondering how hard it was to adapt them in. and pics??

I made some plates out of 8mm aluminium which was somewhere in the 5000 grade. These bolted to the bottom of the gti seat and the rails then to the plate. Dont have any photos but will try to sort some out. There is also another bracket/rail that attaches the reclining mechanism to the seats which I made up a new one out of mild steel 50mm equal angle.

It wasnt really hard to adapt but does take some trick work and a bit of time.
