i have a video clip of a gemini with and FJ20 turbs running 11.06!! i would go that option, it may save you money in the longrun...
and for extra wanking material it would be better to knock off a skyline in a 4cyl rather than stooping as low as to throw the commonwhore v6 donk in.
thats just my thoughts and comments for you!
cheers,

Just a thought, why bother with turboing it??? You probably won't get it engineered, a lot of people have enough trouble with the standard motor, change your diff ratios and you would get those times with that engine standard, or very close to in a gemi, and you'd blow skylines away easily... |

thats why i am "thinking" now and not doing now. I dont want to go out and blow money on a conversion that in the end wouldnt be worth it. And it is better to think about it when i have no money than to go ahead and do a conversion without actually considering all my options |

i would go the sr20det because in stock form it should have a heap of go just put a fmic and exhaust and boost it up
sr's are just easy to get atm unless your going for a
balls out sort of build like gene then i would say go the bullet proof fj
