Who has actually done this??? What power does it handle and what ratios and axles are you using??? What did you do with the torque tube, etc??? I've searched but most of what i've found is questions and ideas, no real info... Cheers... |

Never done it, but I have asked diff places to use commodore centres for my diff and none will do it for me (coz my car is "too powerful for a small diff like that"). They will take upto about a max of 140rwhp or so otherwise they are prone to braking. When they do it they just use the LSD centre form the commodore and everything else from the gemi ie crown wheel, torque tube, and housing. Not to sure about the axles.
The best thing they will do for me is make a mini spool which will handle the power but isnt very legal.

I asked a Holden guy about this. He said they do fit, but they wont handle any more power than a stock Gem diff. |
