My girlfriend is going to take her camira to the wrekers pretty soon, the engine is fuct. I can have any thing I want off of if for free, got a free set of 14 inch 5 spokes in good condition free! (Not wanting to sell). Thew question Im asking is it worth taking the inlet manafold, injectors, fuel pump, (is the fuel pump on camiras external) throttle body, computer.... and other EFI relatedd parts as I would like to put EFI on my gemi at some stage. Is it possible to adapt the camira manafold to fit the gemi motor? Is it worth while taking the computer, are they hard/expensive to get remapped? If you recon its worth while could you please list the parts I shoud take. Any help would be most appreciated.

Yeah my gemini is running the camira injection, using a custom inlet manifold based on a piazza/rodeo manifold.
Check it out at www.badgermotorsport.tk
You should grab the computer, dizzy, injectors, rails, fuel pump, fuel lines, coil, loom, throttle body, Map sensor, TPS, temp sender, grab the manifold for the bit the throttle body attaches to, accel cable, intake tubing (ie TB to air filter).
there are a few places that can remap the ECU, awesome automotive here in adelaide can do it, or check out the list at www.kalmaker.com.au |
