i need to no at all pos about some brake mods, eg wats best to go a tg
hey peoples
i' looking at doing a few things to my tg gem!
it is in the middle of being made into a beast
i would like to no wat type of brakes and booster o can put on it to make it stop and wat type of brake booster i need to run them??
i also wanna no if the g1.6l head fits on the g1.8l motor and if so is this a good option?
i also wanna no i wanna supercharge it, wat is involved and wat type of supercharger i need?
also the car has been lowered and it still has a little body roll how would i get rid of this??

brakes, who needs them, they only make you slow down, not go faster
as for superchargers... go for a toyota one... sc14 or sc12.
off the 4agze and 1jjze (i think that's it) motors. the sc14 would be better, puts out more air per revolution. you would need a place to mount it, a pulley set up, a pipe going from the supercharger to the carby or throttle body and a box over the carby with the pipe going into it. a rising rate fuel regulator would also be good. you wouldn't have to drop the compression if you are only going to run low boost. these superchargers will cost about $400 from a wrecker.
yes, a g180 head will fit on a g161. it might drop the comp a bit so if you were going to supercharge it, then go for it, if not, it will only decrease your performance. |

i thought the 1800/1600 heads had the same cc chambers?
Correct me if i'm wrong here people?
