I dunno whether the battery for the diesel gem would fit. i have a 500watt amp, driving and fog lights, and now that i installed central locking if the battery goes flat I cant unlock the doors. So I got a expensive but good century battery. I have a diesel gem. |

I'm running a 350CCA battery in my TD, as opposed to the factory battery rating of 250CCA. I currently have two sets of driving lights, a basic 4 channel amp and 4 in-cabin speakers and am running them without hassle off a factory alternator.
If you're worried about it, get yourself a much heavier duty battery, ie the largest battery that you can fit.

my lol gem i was runing under car neons, fog lights, about 6 strobs, three 400wattt amps. ruing 4 speakers and 2x 15inch 750 watt subs all on the stock battery and aultinator.
u shouldnt really run a large sterio with the car not runing. (i did yes) but its not good for the battery.
i NEVER had a flat battery (touch wood)over the 2 years i ran it _________________

you don't need a new alternator mabye a new battery i am running 1 300 watt amp and a 1200 watt amp and 2 12 inch kicker subs and on every bass beat it use to dimm every light in the car including the headlights so i got another 600 cold cranking amp battery it is huge and i am running both of them off da stock alternator and it charges them fine i can leave my stereo on for hours cranked when da car is off and have no problems
