how can you put the 5 speed gearbox back in to a TG???
the starter motor housing sits up to high an jams against the underbody of the car, aswell as the whole transmission hitting underneath, is there any other way to tilt the engine back/down to be able to fit the gearbox on???
what has everyone else done to make it easier to put back on!?!?!?
thanks |

just for everyone else fixing there gearbox, make sure u take the extractors off!!! i thought the only reason that you take em off is so they clear the box when ur liftin it in/out, but it was actually stopping my engine from tilting!!! i unbolted them and when i pulled em off, the engine tilted down straight away, and then we slid the gearbox on easy as....
thanks for your help guys! |
