anyone done the chop the 2 rear commo springs in half, to use in the front and back. how low does it make the gemi sit, and does the car sit the same height front and rear? |

and yes i have searched and all i get is....."cutting springs is bad mmkay". i dont care about that as i am cutting them anyway. |

i cut 1 commodore spring in half and used them in teh back. but commodore springs dont fit in the front. there diameter is to big _________________

k, thanx gene, how many coils did u cut off the front, for it to sit even. and how low was it?

COMMODORE SPRINGS DO FIT IN THE FRONT. i had vk ones in mine and rod has vl ones in his atm. in half is good for the back but u use about 2/3rds of the spring for the front. dont do it dude.. its all nice and safe and cool until u crash your car becasue of it |

How low it sits depends exactly on where u cut it... and it will change a lot more than what u think... taking 1/3 off the spring could take 2/3 off ur ride height. U obviously dont care about the safety side though or fact that u could get set of professional lowered kings for little over $100 2nd hand that will ride better, be legal and perfectly safe. |

we fit VL springs to the front of my mates gemini and it works but its still to big
my mates car
rear - VL rear spring cut in 1/2
fronts -(we used VL in my mates) we cut them (from memory) 28cm tall when sitting on the ground.
i used cut gemini kingsprings inteh front of mine a HQ spring cut in 1/2 in the back _________________
