hey guys, i know there is workshop info on this, but i was just wondering what amp rating is the headlight wiring for a TG? Because i know they aren't sealed beam are they? I just wanna know so it saves me the trouble upgrading all the wiring to it if it can handle the extra wattage of the lights. And while i'm at it, has ne one put a TE front on a TG? i know they are the exact same panels and shit, but does it look like a te? or does it look weird.
cheers sorry about the long post |

I've seen a TE front and rear fitted to a TF\TG, in my opinion it just looked very very weird, with the TF\TG dash, but TE front and rear lights and bumpers.
As far as lighting goes, you could run the upgraded lights off the factory wiring, however, you will find that over time you will kill your wiring, as it isn't able to handle the current draw on a long term basis.

I strongly suggest putting a relay in if you upgrade your lights, hell it's even good to put one in with the stock headlights. |

Depends how far you go. TE panels and front & rear lights, It'd look like a TE with a TF/G interior and bumpers.
How it looks when you've finished is your own personal opinion. |

TG have a dedicated relay for the headlights so you can upgrade the lights, I had 90watt low beam and 120 watt high beam made things a lot better when in the bush and having to dodge the wildlife.
