Hi everyone,
Im doing some work on my mates Gemini, its got a G200 with a 32/36 weber at the moment. We're converting it to EFI at the moment. We're also planning to put a turbo on later, like a T25 or GT28
I have got a Delco ECU, Loom, Coil and most sensors from a N13 Pulsar,
2.6L Rodeo injection manifold, injectors and throttle body.
Everything plugs into the loom except the old G200 dizzy obviuosly. (and the TPS but i think i can rewire that)
Can someone give me some advice with what to do with the dizzy? Should we get an RB dizzy and convert it?
Also is it necesary to use Idle Air Control?
Thanks Edward. |

Hey Edward,
is the G200 dizzy an electronic dizzy, or points??
The 2.6litre efi manifold uses Nippon Denso injectors, whereas the N13pulsars I have seen were all equipped with Bosch injectors, which have a different plug. I take it you spliced the 4ZE1 loom into the pulsar one for the injectors??
It is not necesarry to use the IAE from the rodeo manifold, unless you want that feature. Its a bit like a shift light, you dont need it to run the engine. I assume the valve was fitted to help the engine idle whilst cold and still meet emission requirements. Whereas, I guess you dont care about emissions.

Hey Ben,
Thanks for the help!
The G200 dizzy has points at the moment.
Im not sure what the deal is with the injectors but they plug up in!?!
Someone told me the 2.6 injectors we have, have a standard bosch plug.
And I probably wont bother with the idle air control thanks. |
