ok if anyones got the feburary 2003 hot 4's issue (they just did a re-release with the october issue) theres nice lookin red gemi in there with white decals down the side but thats not the problem...
his setup is as follows:
- g200 twin cam EFI
- k&n filter
- cold air induction
- Link engine management
- bosch high-pressure fuel pump
- 4 into 1 extractors
- 2 into 2.5 inch stainess mandrel bent exhaust
- resonator
- stainless muff
- lightened flywheel
ok fookin long post i know but no my point... he took it to a dyno and only got 75rwkw ????????!!!!! surely that cant be right and thevye left the "1" off the front. |

oh yeh but still .. 2 litre twin cam with fully kitted exhaust and efi ? for the sake of argument he throws a coupe of 30/70 cams in they dont improve that much do they ? |

That sounds spot on. You have to look at what engines make what hp. 175rwkW is more than engines like RB26DETT and SR20DET etc make.
Be a bit realistic. Its a NA 8 valve 2 litre, with an exhaust. big deal! it probably makes 10% more power than in stock form, which is about 74rwkW.

A lot of people are scared to open up a motor.
Plus it costs a bit, even if you pull it apart, and dont do anything, you have to buy gaskets.
imagine having to buy 2 cams, and pay someone to port the head for you, and a gasket kit, theres $1000. on top of the bolt on stuff he has already bought. |
