why a 9" ??
and was there enuff on the gemini axels to have them resplined to suit? or u had custom axels made??

9 inch ... why not? it fits it, was at the right price and allows me to upgrade the motor and box at a later date with out having to worry about the rear end. it gives me the option for some drag racing with out probs or burn outs or even what I currently setting the car up for is a little drifting as it is so nice the drift......
and the advantage of a removable centre to change ratios or even put a locker in makes my life easy...
YEAH I know about weight and that a hilux would have been lighter and maybe stronger this all works and works well.
and if I fuck the shell it all unbolts and bolts into another gemini either PV or sedan only 2 more bolts than a standard gem diff just need to change the exhaust path to suit...
