if a piazza is built on a gemini underbody, this means that everything from a piazza should fit a gemini? i mean- front brakes, motor, gearbox and does the diff bolt straight in?

most parts do fit, with alittle engineering, thats why people use the engines cos they come turbo, they use the gearbox cos they have used the engine, they use the diff cos of its disc brakes, but i dont think any of it bolts straight in |

The Piazza running gear fits wit very slight modifications except for the diff, the front suspension is exactly the same, just the brakes are bigger and the tie rod end is slightly different (read this on here a while ago). The diff doesnt fit because the diff is 30mm longer so the mounts are 15mm further away from the point where the Gemini mounts are attached. This means you can get the diff in, but you will have some wierd handling traits. Some people will say the diff will bolt in to the wagon and panel van but this is crap. I was told this by someone that knows so much about Geminis (and Isuzus) he quoted the first 3 gear ratios for 4 or 5 different close ratio boxes as well as the standard ratios. |

does the piazza have a 30mm wider wheelbase or just the mountings. surely you could make something up to fit in. |
