Hi people,
Many said I was crazy, but managed to get the BreadVan to complete a lap of Tassie over the last couple of weeks.
Drove it from Melbourne to Adelaide, put it on the ferry and did a bit of a tour. Had to get the points adjusted, along with the timing, plus the ball joints became increasingly squeaky, but otherwise it didn't skip a beat!
So far I've driven my Gemini to the Gold Coast, to Sydney and to Tasmania via Melbourne.
NEVER AGAIN. I'm deaf and tired. Next time I want a car with a CD stacker and cruise control.
But I can say I did it and did it the hard way.
