Chasing a good crown wheel and pinion, you can keep the rest as mines all different.

Yeah that would be good as long as it wasn't whining. Need a good set to get cryo treated as I keep wearing the case harding off them. Also have had 2 people say they might have 1 but not heard back as yet.

Why not just refit the whole housing and all? Heaps easier than pulling down a centre and seting it all back up again. These whining diffs, were they whining after being stripped down and refitted, as in the centres being dismantled? _________________ I try to tackle one day at a time, but often several days attack me at once.

I think you slightly missed the point as my diff is no way near stock and the only thing inside the housing that is gemini are the crown & pinion gears. The diff was quite till a number of hard launches at willowbank which wears the case hardening off the gear and still whine even after being reshimed. |
