Any 2 Ltr fuel injected engine will have advantage over the gemini G-series engines.
What gearbox are you planning on running...the Gazelle five speed box should pull the gem along alright...(and will be particularly efficient at the top end)
Are you doing the conversion for a race set-up (Rebuild and Worked) or just to go faster around the suburbs ??

the gazelle motor has
78Kw@5200
160Nm@3200
compared to the gemini
TX - TD
61Kw@5200
127Nm@3600
and the TE - TG
49Kw@5000
106Nm@3600
so if you have a TX-TD you'd prolly be better off working your motor (engineers certificate etc)
but if you have a TE-TG then throw it in!!! |
