Im slowly getting in to enjoying driving at night dodging wombats in the bush, I got the driving lights happening and the alernator seems to keep up aroun 13volts but lets turn absolutely everything on, stereo, wipers, heater, hibeams and lights it sits around over 12volts which is still ok! Its a later model altenator the tf-tg one about 60amps any one tried an alternator out of another car that fits ok say over 80amps???????
Thanks! |

late model magna with an inbuilt voltage reg work. can get from 80 amp to 120 amp depending on models. Talk to your local sporting car club that deals withthe gemini rally cars, theyll know exact make and model. |

i have one of those bigger alternators with the in built regulators. The one you aree after must say mitsubishi japan on it. these come from lasers and Rx-7's i suggest talking to a compentent auto sparky. |
