most insurance companies wouldn't insure it for more than $3000, try shannons classic car insurance they're usually willing to insure on an agreed value. |

i spent over $12000 on my gem, and the wankers at all the insurence joints would only insure it for $3000 unless i have a valuer to look at it which was gonna cost me $300 aswell. so im cut lol. oh well not much u can do i guess _________________

If you think your car is worth more than $3000 then I'd definately insure it with Shannons. You tell them what you think your car is worth, and they'll insure it for that amount. No valuations, nothing! It can all be done over the phone. The premium may be higher, but if anything ever happens to the car then its worth it. Shannons were the only insurance company I could find that would insure mine. I haggled with them and they put me on a rating one upfront. Heaps cheaper! Just protect the car with your life, cos the excess is pretty hefty. |
