Hey all, i was looking around to buy my first car. I have currently saved approx $2900 and i was looking to buy a TG, i hear that there were TG panno's, how hard are these to find??? I want a straight body, and no rust(is that possible) I was also wondering is it worth doing up the stock 1600? i mean i was told by Adelaide Jap Dismantlers that they can do me a Piazza turbo for 2600 inc front brakes, they are 134Kw, How quick are the 1600's when modded up a bit?
Cheers to whoever responds

2600 is a bit dear for a piazza motor + box, even with the front brakes. If you are in Adelaide, I would try Just Gemini and Holdens (or something like that its called).
If you want some sting out of your 1600, I'll sell you a brand new Nitrous oxide kit and you can bolt on an extra 50 horsepower |

Ben,
TG panelvans are rare as. If you can get one, it'll be killer! Take note that orignally all TG vans (and all TG base-model sedans) had TF grilles and lights at the front.
I saw one today and I thought to myself, that's killer, I wish I had that. Then again, I've got a TD van that's OK so I can't complain.
Take it easy. |
