VN Springs

Hey, i don't know if anyone is interested but i just finished putting VN commodore springs in the rear of my gemmi. U may ask "what the F@*K would u bother doing that for?" but the answer is, i needed to raise my beast so i could actually drive it onto the road from my driveway...i tried to get out last week and got stuck (had to get my mates VN to drag me onto the road)...so i decided hmmmm better raise it a bit...got a pair of standard VN springs from my mate, cut a few coils out, slapped them in with the VN rubbers and all is sweet, just thought i would let u's all know in case u wanna do the same.
P.S: its a lot smoother ride than gemmi springs, CYA

hahahah, RAISED!!!!!??????? OMG thats something u DONT do. but as a matter a fact i used vn springs to lower the rear of my mates gem and hq springs to lower the rear of mine.
all u need is one vn/hq spring cut it in half, half for each side, looks sweet!!!!!

You either have a fucked-up gutter or a stupidly lowered car.

My car was lowered with Pedders red springs all round, and they assure me their springs sit around legal height.

Mine looks nicely dumped - not enough to attract the coppers, not enough to scrape on pebbles, but with the right amount of loweredness to looked suitably dumped.

With the right rim and tyre-size combination, it looks pretty cool, I reckon.

And I have no troubles on all but the most bastardly of speedhumps.

Perhaps you should look into that. Or move house.

hahaha...yeah, mine was absolutely slammed, i got a bit carried away when i was cutting the original gemmi springs, but i only RAISED my gem to get through a roadworthy, its not on the road yet, but don't u's worry, im not going soft cocked, as soon as i have that roadworthy certificate she's going to be dropped on her gutz again, i assure you of that...so don't worry, CYA
