Not interchangable???

I've just been told that only TX, TC and TD parts are interchangable with each other. Not all model Gemini's like i've been told!?! This is a Gemini forum yet i have had no informative answer! I need to buy doors and i just found out that TE onwards won't fit, lucky...

some parts are interchangeable, some aren't

best bet is to go to a wreckers and ask, its pretty much required knowledge for them.

I realise that, i am also an ethusiast, that explains why i am here. I just needed to know what fits what as the doors on my shitta are rusted badly and need knew ones. Lucky i didn't rush out and buy 4 TE doors or something! Haha...

Someone who owns a couple of Geminis! But when you think about it, the TE onwards are a completely different shape to the TX, TC and TD!?! Help!!

only the front and back of the car are are different panel wise

the doors are identical

as fastgem said, and as has been said a few posts back

Also, how do you take the doors off? Looks different to your average door hinge??

You either struggle to improvise, use an angle grinder or buy the special tool from autobarn, not too expensive and you'll need one to put the doors on anyway.

How often do you think holden WANTS people to change the doors? Other doors I've removed came off with only moderate trouble (and over-arm swings with the hammer).
