Rare Spares have the chrome wheel caps that came with the TE Gemini SL/X, these were supplied with the up-market pressed steel wheel - you probably know the one - it's got bumps and stuff around it, rather than the standard stocky.
If you're looking for the base-model caps that came with the TD & TE in grey and TF & TG in black (also came on the base model UC Torana in grey and the VC Commodore L four-cylinder in grey), then your best bet would be to ring around at the wreckers. Perhaps try a Gemini specialist if you know of one, because most people would chuck them out. They get damaged easily - by the wheel nuts generally, as they press against the caps to hold them on.
An interesting alternative is a genuine GM accessory for the Camira. Base model JB Camiras also had the black wheel caps like the TF and TG, but Holden supplied a chrome version of that cap as well. I had a set, but they too get very easily damaged - the chrome rubs off pretty easily. Some Holden dealers should still have them - I know that Just Geminis in Adelaide had a box as well.
Cheers,
Dave |
