i was just wondering if anyone can give some instrutions on changing the rear seal on my gearbox i think there is no oil left in it i have been driving it once a week like that for two weeks will that have done much damage thanks |

u jack drive the car on to car ramps
jack the rear up put it on axle stands. Remove the tailshaft. grab to small flat blade screwdrivers and prise the old seal out. Grab the new seal put some grease on it and using a crankcase pulley slowly tap the seal in till it is nice and level. Then coneect everything back up fill wuth oil and lower the car and away you go |

if you have driven your car hard id say you just halfed its life but if not dont worry there pretty hardy.
