Is there a noticeable power gain in port-matching on both the inlet & exhaust sides of the head and inlet manifold on a G200 with a set of 4-2-1 extractors ?? If so, is it at least more than 5-10HP...

So... let me get this straight... without having seen, let alone measured, the misalignment of your manifolds you would like us to tell you how much power you will gain?

er... I think I'll stick to guessing lotto numbers.

Depends how far out they are, so it's quite impossible to tell, as every engine is different in that regard.

Any guesstimates would be good, it's damn obvious that i wont gain 50HP. My guess is in the region of 2-5HP, but someone out there could have gained as much as 10-15HP. Just a rough estimate would be appreciated.

Jaysn, It's anybody's guess as to how much of an increase you'll get. I'd agree with Michael....less than 5. Port matching is usually done after the head has had some work done to it, so that you get the benefits of doing such work. It also depends on what else has been done to the motor. You would probably only notice the gain on a stock motor on a dyno, but as MatMan said, it depends on how much the head and manifolds are misaligned. If you did decide to do it, you'd have to drill and mount some sort of 'keyway', like a couple of roll pins, between the head and manifolds to line them up accurately when you reassemble the top end.
But in the end, a gain is a gain.
Yonnee.
