hey guys i need help ive lookd on every page of me manual,
does n e 1 kno were the oil warning unit thingy is?
as my oil light dont work and its not the globe or the pressure sensor |

hey my oil light works but i was nearly empty on oil and the thing neva came on.
so i don't know if it comes on when you've run out of oil or if it's just broken. |

OK. To answer the question, the oil pressure switch is located near the bottom of the block, in front of the drivers side engine mount. To check, turn the ignition 'on', if the light doesn't come on, take the wire connector off the oil switch and touch it on a good earth piont. If it still wont work put in a new globe for good measure, they're not expensive. (Is your charge/alternator light working? It's powered off the same circuit.) Failing that, the only thing left is the wire between the two. |
