Just thought i'd mention that i've seen a lot of really neat lookin gems around adelaide lately. ie the last few weeks.
I don't mean show cars but just straight body, nice paint and respectable wheel combo jobs. Things are picking up finally from the usual multi colour, rust holed, smoke blowing death traps that are usually getting around.
Change of image is long over due. Gemini's can be good cars it's just i guess the general public have a bad perception of them!
Drive safe people, the cops are out in force of late. Trust me when i say things are gonna get tight too, i have been warned from a good mate in the force. Random mobile inspections, license checks etc etc. Just keep ur eyes n ears open.

Random my arse.
Cop 1 - Hey ! That 200sx has 20" wheels, 6" tip, 150DB stereo at max, and 2mm of ground clearance!
Cop 2 - Never mind that! Theres a Gemini with an exhaust tip thats 1" bigger than stock!

i thought it was funny that my mum got pulled over while driving my old green tx shitbox, they were gonna get her cause of obstruction of numberplates or some shit like that, anyway out she gets in full corporate dress and the young cop (who pulled her over in an undercover camry) shits himself and almost starts apologising to her...
if it were the other way around i woulda got screwed over...
not all cops are bastards.... but alot are  |

Tell me about it. Years ago on my "P's" I got pulled over for a "random licence check" in my lowered, tinted, 13X7'ed, graphiced and completely roadworthy TC coupe. His first words, standing 10 metres behind the car, "I can't see that P plate behind the louvre." "Do you realise that's a court appearance?" Only reason I didn't lose my ticket to drive, summons came 6 months later, 3 months after I was off probation! And the cops wonder why they have a bad rapport with younger drivers.
