with all of this talk about the 3.8L V6, i think i've got a different option for you all to consider.
This 3L (i think) straight 6 twin turbo toyota motor, with 206kW stock (Jap restricted), 250kW is piss easy with exhaust & chip.
Not sure about the viability for the Gemini, but i have looked into the conversion, and i've been told it has been done to LJ Toranas. Ian at IDB in richmond (Victoria i think) is the man to ask.
I would say that, as it's not as much of a 'tractor' motor, the weight balance problem that Adam was talking about would be less noticable, if not gone altogether.

be prepared to pay a fortune........... custom this, custom that....
even the rodeo sump for the 2.6 (4ZE1) fuel inj. doesn't fit into the gemi, it has to be custom.. and thats HOLDEN !!
a friend got quoted $15,000 for an SR20DET installed.. heh |
