If your putting them there because the tank will "interfere" with the sound, don't worry! The tank will make a poofteenth of a difference. If your putting them there 'cause they will look cool, then go ahead but I don't know if they will sound better/worse.

it will ook cool yeah but you are essentially making free air subs which can either go hard... or most of the time.. sould like dogshit

it sucks when u got a sick looking system and then you turn it on to show your mates crank it all the way up and you can't hear it

some 12's or 15's in a properly designed box either sealed or ported which kick the shit out of free airs 98% of the time

it would sound like SHIT!
make a box in the boot and use it for rear end loading or fire them straight up. u will get excellent preformace. the tank dont do anything to affect bass frequincys

yes i have done this it looks fucking awsome and gives good back massage but requires brain. on my first attempt i went for vented box sounded average then i used some programs i got hold of to calculated box volume for certain subs to develop small volume bass reflex (quite efective).

Yeah, put them in a box in the boot facing rearwards. Although, the only thing affecting the bass will be the back seat itself. Use at least a 12 inch sub and it'll be alright. A ported box will also get louder than a sealed with the same amount of power.

Bandpass boxes are shit. Why would that sound good?? Experts still have trouble with bandpass boxes. They are a waste of time and money. The frequency range they produce is very narrow. No good for listening to music, just making noise over a small range of frequencies.
