Hey all... I've just been offered some TF parts at a dead cheap price and was wondering if i can fit them into my TX. So far i have been offered 1. A 2 inch sports exhaust with hi flow muffler - Is the floor pan the same for a simple swap over?? 2. Diff - I'm pretty sure the diffs were different so can this be bolted in without any head-aches? 3. Rear king Springs - Same again...
And if anyone out there has a set of decent sports shocks at a reasonable price then shout me a hollar down. |

1. exhaust will fit fine,
2, diff you will have to keep you brake lines from your TX diff as TX Gem's have imperial brake lines, everything onwards have Metric brake lines, But the rear wheel cylinders are identical so the only difference will be the brakes lines on the diff's that you will have to change,
3, your arse end will sit a little higher with TF springs, not much thou, your will have to check I have put TE standard springs in a TX it raised it a little, if anything get the front and rear sway bar's your TX will probably mnot have them, but the bolt holes should be in your body, check of course it has been a while since I played with a TX,
I hope this helps,
All in all the parts will fit. ride height will be the only difference with the springs,
cheers

Thanx a million... I was starting to wonder if i was going to get any answers at all, it'd be a bitch if i forked out the cash only to find out the parts are worthless to me.
Now i can get straight onto doing a few mods - Yippee !!!
Cheers,
Jasyn... |
