does anyone know what is happening at lakeside, i can't find anything on this year or gem racing.

| i believe that it's been bought out by the pine shire council, and the land is now being developed for real estate. that's what i heard on the grapevine anyhow. |

Spending a large portion of my time out at Qld. Raceway I catch a lot of grapevine details regarding lakeside.
The land is definitely now owned by Pine Rivers Shire Council... there intended purpose is somewhat a matter of debate... some people say that they plan to use it for driver training and track days... while others say that they are going to rip it up and put a park/houses there... the truth is out there... but I don't know what it is.
As for the geminis series, they will just go back to being a one venue event, except now that venue will be QR. |

| No Council will run a race track, so they will just do what they did to Amaroo down here ... Build houses. ... Michael |
