My bro in law has just bought a a bog stock TG auto, the first time we drove it {bringing it home} he boiled it's balls off. We had to get a new radiator{clogged} and a thermostat, when we screwed the thermostat housing down, we stripped the bolt in the inlet manifold, he drilled out a hole thru to the bottom so he'd just hook up a nut and bolt, when he next started it it had a hairline crack in the manifold {pissing out water} he wants to do this thing up so i suggested he get a new inlet and maybe a SD weber. He's getting 4-2-1 extracots and a 2.25 inch exhaust in 2 weeks and a 5 speed manual conversion next week. {we need to drive it to bribie island from brissie} So it needs to be on the road by then.
