I want to get some track time

I am curious as if to anyone knows how to get some track time on the race tracks around town. I live in Brisbane and am interested in getting my Gem to Queensland Raceway and Lakeside Raceway in particular.

If anyone knows of any open days or public events which i can attend would be much appreciated!

So close, you missed it by a day or two. Queensland raceway has public sprints on about once a month on saturday afternoon (get there by 11:30am). details are available at http://www.queensland-raceway.org.au/public_drive/public_drive.html

There was a good mix of machinery out there, I left after about the third group had gone out as I had been at QR since 6am and I was asleep on my feet.

Lakeside on the other hand is no more.
