well it seems there is alot of interest in a collins cruise
so how about some help organising it ! when do u all want to do it? a saturday night would be good , but the street will be packed - so maybe a sunday night might be better!
Meet up at the dock lands car park at say about 7pm and sit for half an hour then leave to drive up collins street turn left up russell street and threw onto lygon street and then right onto elgin street down johnston street and turn right on hoddle street onto punt road to fitzroy rd down the esplanade and park at the beach.
ANY ideas would help ,and i need help . (
(ALL ARE WELCOME) Any non gems can tail at the rear and thats including the escort club!!!
Would be nice to have a sticker or somthing on every car, maybe a glow stick behind the int mirror( not sure legal)
but any ideas are welcome- we want atleast 50 gemini o.k.
Might be able to put the guys from country up at my place for the night%
thanx mana |

hey Mana, sounds like a good idea. A sunday nite would be good but im sure lots of us will have to work early in the morning, but at least if we start it early, we dont have to be out too late.
I have some other ideas so if u want some help, email me at Melbgemcruise@hotmail.com |

Saturday nights sound a bit better to me, I wouldn't be looking forward to driving back to Bendigo on a Sunday night.
The only thing I have against cruising at night is the police presence.
I am busy both this weekend and Easter weekend.
Somewhere central in the city is a good idea though.
Any idea when this will go ahead?

Well, we could go with April 13th.... saturday nite. I dunno where we could cruise 2 after. Suggestions would be helpful.
MANA: i'm sure u could grab a lift with one of us who were at the last cruise.
I know theres a lot of people from the eastern suburbs who'll come along, so we could all meet up like an hour before we meet in the city so we can all cruise in there 2gether.
Benjamin , u're welcome 2 crash at my place again if u want 2.

We should cruise thru collins street Deb, and then go down to Elwood Beach car park, trust me that place is pretty packed on a sat nite. I went once on a sunday nite, thought it was gonna be dead quiet, but there were a fair bit of ppl there. People go there to pretty much show off their cars, and crank up da music. msg me back if ya like this idea. |

Hey mana, there's heaps of Carparks at Elwood beach, trust me, it's huge. Only prob would be those damn concrete parking blocks set out everywhere, someone is bound to run over em and get stuck on it. But then again they aren't hard to miss. Although a car with 3 chicks decided to just drive over one, and got stuck, ofcourse me and my mate had to lift their car and get it off it. But yeah, elwood is pretty good for parking, shouldn't be to much of a hassle.
cheers |

You'll never get 100+ cars on such short notice.
I would come along but these things need to be planned in advance if you're to get a fair Gemini contingent, even those in the SE have a little travelling to do.
Hope it all goes ok tho.

well i'm definitely sure there are over 100 car parks, and there's even two car parks, but the second one is generally better. Just thought i'd save ya the drive down to elwood. But you can go check it out yourself if ya want.
cheers. |
