i believe that they're a +.30 offset (what i was told by bob jane-but could be wrong) and this is the same offset as new astra rims. lancer rims as they are a front wheel drive offset, will put more of the wheel under the guard. they aren't the right offset for a gem though, and some tyre & wheel shops will tell u this too. but they bolt on, and work fine without rubbing(depends how low your ride is) ...and as far as i'm concerned, thats enough.
hope this helps, all the best, greg |

i tried 14" lancer rims. they fitted the front fine but the rear tyres - i was trying to fit 205 x 14,s - rubbed on the seat belt bolt and the bodywork. i ended up spacing them out about 10mm and did a bit of panel work with a hammer to stop them rubbing. u could probably get away with different (lower profile) tyres. honda rims are the same offset as the lancer.
Cheers

is getting rims that are the wrong offset gonna break, fuck up and generally cause havoc when you give them a good workout
i mean, surly having the wrong sort of rim isnt gonna be ogod when you are fanging it around a rough corner over small corrugations and shit... do wheels break easy etc? |
