Hi everybody,
I just bought myself a gemini rally car and was wondering what L.S.D's can be used? Can you get an L.S.D that fits into a TX gemini diff housing? Or can other diff's that had L.S.D's be fitted? Any help is greatly appreciated! |

firstly, thanks for the help!
I payed $1500 for my gem.
it's a TX with bilstein shocks, kingsprings, rebuilt 1600 with gemini series cam, arthur jackson 6 point cage, hydraulic handbrake, etc.it is pretty much built exactly to what the arthur jackson manual suggests.
i'd say that if your starting out and it's between an escort and gemini, definitely go for the gemini.parts are easier and cheaper to get and there are probably more of them rallying in aus.And as you'll find out, keeping rallying cheap is the best way to start(i made a huge mistake with the first car i got!). |

Are you serious about the VL centre and axles? |

I Believe the Holden Commodore LSD from the vb - vk series LSD centres I think it's the smaller Borg Warner centre. it bolts straight in and you can use the Gemini Gear set, allows the standard axles approximate $1000 for brand new LSD centre.

Where can you get them brand new? So it bolts in with no mods whatsoever? |

OK,
The centres are the same as 6 cylinder and 253 VB - VK commo's. SO contact your local diff specialist. New LSD centre is about $1000 + fitting thou, they should be able to help. atleast confirm. what I had been told, I have a 9 Inch due to braking Piazza LSD diff's.
Cheers
