shame you dont live up here i could show you how i had them setup....
just in case i didnt explain it very well the other day.
the accelerator cable was a mates he had and i think it was a V8 commodore cable.
it doesnt screw in the original hole in the fire wall but has a long thread with a adjuster nut on it ...Im still using it for the turbo setup so its a long cable.
there is a bracket (i dont remember if i used it on the turbo setup.im thinking i did which is maybe why what i told you the other day dosent make sense if it wasnt there youll find two bold holes in the middle of the inletmanifold that i used to bolt a bracket that was about 15cm approx bent on about 20 deg approx leaning torwards the carbs and attached the cable casing to that)on the inlet manifold for the cable to sit in .The cable comes from the fire wall and turns in a anticlockwise direction and fits into the bracket.
i used a ball which goes onto the smal arm in the middle of the carbs and the cable clips onto the ball.
also needed to bend the acceleraton pedal bottom part upwards to get a bit more travel.
dont know it this helps. let me know.
