7 x 10 boxes

got some kenwood 7 x 10's, 280w @ 4 ohm, they're going to be running 200w each, that's max pwr, roughly 70w rms each off a audioline or kicker amp.

and i need to make a box's to puy them on the rear parcel shelf, i don't want 2 cut holes, and the petrol tank is very close so not much point anyways. i have chekerplate there aswel and don't want holes in that either.

my qn is, how big does the box have to be in litres or cm^3, wot thickness wood or type do i have to use, and any suggestion on shape etc.

or any1 with dimensions for their 6x9 boxes, type away.

go to a search engine and look up speaker boxes or something similar and it will give you dimensions for subs, speakers etc. you shouldn't need to make boxes for 7x10's in the parcel shelf. i would have thought that just elevating the shelf itself was enough to get them to clear the fuel tank. that's what i did. just made a smaller template of the original shelf and screwed it on top of the old one.
