use a jig saw with metal cutting blade. heaps neater then the angle grinder.

dont do that. Go to a crash shop and ask them to cut it with a nibbler or nuematic shears. The flat base of the jigsaw will scratch the paint off about an inch around the hole. dont forget to seal the bare metal edge too, use a small brush with some rust converter or enamel paint. better still, use some rubber edging like used on early model holdens with the seal on the doors. ie: HK-T-G's.
