|
|
Wiring up a wolf3D.
On the main power (+12v) to the wolf it says to run an "OEM Fusible Link". What sort of fuse is it??
Like a 10 or 15 amp fuse under the dash?? or something like an Amp Wiring kit fuse ??
The power wire runs the fusible link to a 30amp relay... what size should the fusible link be ?? |

I would run a 30amp fusible link from +ive side of battery to the 30amp relay.
A fusible link is a short peice of wire with a clip on either end (in the stock wiring form) and is just like a fuse but the wire inside melts to break the circut. If you have one go its a prick to find, but easy to fix
Any auto shop will sell you a fusiable link |

OEM = original brand item, so use a genuine holden gemini fuseable link 30amp. ( you could prob use a another brand one though) manufactures normally just prefer it if you use OEM products for quality/reliability purposes.
And the fuseable link is a red material looking cable about 5cm long with 2 white clips/connectors on each end. should only be a few bucks from holden or supercheap. |

I haven't found out for sure, but my theory is that OEM stands for 'Originally Equipped & Manufactured'.
Gotta find that one out one day...

As above.
Ie a part which originally came on a car, or a genuine replacement part. |
