the boot lock is being such a bitch, it doesnt want to go on.
Ive tried many different methods including taking it off and putting the lid on my quilt on the ground inside to finger the fricker lock in.
It goes in but i cant lock it in with the special thingo...
So ive tried with the original O ring lock, that dont work either. what have people used to lock the lock in with? the new rectangular looking locks?? what!?
Im talking about the BOOT LOCK only. its a bitch. i just cant get it!
am i too weak to push it in or something!??! GRR

What you have to do is file a little groove at the bottom of the bootlid where the lock goes in. The connections they give you on the lock are the ones that you are to use.
So once you have filed out that little groove the lock should just slip in. Have a look on the inside of the lock and you'll see what im talking about.
Thats how i put mine in, cos i was having the same trouble as you, but in the end it is so easy.
